This Product Disclaimer explains how jewellery, materials, finishes, colours, measurements, photographs, styling references and product-care information are presented by Manvaya Jewels.
Customers should read the relevant product page, this Product Disclaimer, the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy and the Terms & Conditions before purchasing.
This Disclaimer is intended to improve transparency and does not exclude any mandatory consumer right. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 contains provisions relating to product liability, seller responsibility and false or misleading advertising.

2. Scope of this Disclaimer
This Product Disclaimer applies to products displayed, promoted or sold directly by Manvaya Jewels through:
- The Manvaya Jewels website
- Official Instagram and WhatsApp accounts
- Direct social-media orders
- Exhibitions and pop-up events
- Other direct sales channels operated by Manvaya Jewels
Products purchased through a third-party marketplace may also be subject to the product information, disclaimers and policies displayed by that marketplace.
3. Nature of Manvaya Jewels products
Manvaya Jewels primarily offers fashion, artificial and oxidised jewellery intended for personal styling and decorative use.
Products may include earrings, jhumkas, necklaces, chokers, pendants, rings, bracelets, cuffs, bangles, anklets, nose pins, jewellery sets and related accessories.
Depending on the individual product, materials may include:
- Mixed-metal alloys
- Brass or oxidised brass
- German-silver-style alloy
- Silver-plated alloy
- Artificial stones
- Glass stones
- Beads
- Pearls or imitation pearls
- Enamel
- Mirror work
- Thread, fabric or decorative components
- Other materials stated on the relevant product page
The material description on the individual product page will govern that product.
Customers should not assume that every Manvaya Jewels product has the same metal composition, finish or care requirements.
4. Fashion jewellery and precious-metal jewellery
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, Manvaya Jewels products should be treated as fashion or artificial jewellery, not as solid gold, pure silver or sterling silver jewellery.
Terms such as:
- Oxidised jewellery
- Oxidised silver jewellery
- Silver-look jewellery
- German silver
- Silver-toned
- Antique silver finish
- Silver-plated
- Gold-toned
- Gold-plated
may describe a product’s colour, appearance, alloy, plating or finish. These expressions do not, by themselves, mean that the product is made from solid silver, 925 sterling silver, solid gold or another precious metal.
A product will be represented as 925 sterling silver, hallmarked silver, gold or another precious metal only where that characteristic is expressly stated on its product page and supported by appropriate product information.
5. Hallmarking and purity representations
Bureau of Indian Standards information explains that hallmarking is the official determination and recording of the proportionate precious-metal content in an article and that both gold and silver fall within India’s hallmarking system. BIS currently recognises multiple silver fineness grades, including 925.
Accordingly:
- Customers should not interpret a silver colour or oxidised finish as a BIS hallmark.
- A product should not be treated as hallmarked unless the product page and invoice expressly identify it as such.
- Fashion jewellery will ordinarily not carry a BIS precious-metal hallmark.
- Any precious-metal purity, fineness or hallmark information will be displayed separately where applicable.
- Product names used for stylistic purposes do not constitute certification of metal purity.
BIS states that sellers of hallmarked gold or silver articles must be registered or certified for the sale of those hallmarked articles.
Manvaya Jewels will not claim BIS certification, hallmarking or a specific precious-metal purity unless such a claim is genuinely applicable and verifiable.
6. Product photographs
Manvaya Jewels aims to display products accurately through photographs, videos and other visual content.
However, the actual product may appear slightly different because of:
- Studio or natural lighting
- Camera exposure
- Image editing used to improve clarity
- Screen brightness
- Device display settings
- Colour calibration
- Browser settings
- Surrounding colours
- Reflections from metal or stones
- Differences between daylight and indoor lighting
A slight difference between the colour visible on a screen and the colour of the physical product will not necessarily constitute a defect.
This clause does not apply where the delivered item is materially different from the product that was advertised or ordered.
7. Product-image editing
Product photographs may be:
- Cropped
- Resized
- Brightened
- Colour-balanced
- Sharpened
- Background-cleaned
- Arranged into graphic layouts
Such editing is intended to present the product clearly and maintain a consistent website appearance.
Manvaya Jewels will not knowingly use editing to conceal a material defect, falsely enlarge a product or misrepresent an important product characteristic.
Where an image is a styling illustration, mood image, digital mock-up or AI-assisted visual rather than an exact photograph of the sale product, it should be identified accordingly.
Only the products and components expressly included in the written product description form part of the order.
8. Model and scale photographs
Photographs showing jewellery worn by a model are intended to help customers understand styling and approximate scale.
The product may appear larger or smaller depending on:
- The model’s face or body proportions
- Ear shape or earlobe position
- Neck circumference
- Finger or wrist size
- Camera angle
- Distance from the camera
- Hairstyle
- Clothing
- Product positioning
Customers should rely on the written dimensions and weight information, where provided, rather than judging size solely from model photographs.
9. Product dimensions and weight
Measurements and weights stated on product pages are generally approximate unless expressly described as exact.
Small differences may arise because of:
- Manual measurement
- Hand assembly
- Supplier tolerances
- Differences between individual pieces
- Decorative components
- Stone or bead variation
- Weighing-equipment tolerances
Where provided, dimensions may include length, width, diameter or drop length.
A minor difference in measurement or weight will not ordinarily constitute a manufacturing defect unless it materially changes the nature, usability or description of the product.
Customers seeking precise measurements should contact Manvaya Jewels before placing the order.
10. Handcrafted and hand-finished variations
Some Manvaya Jewels products may be handcrafted, hand-assembled, hand-painted or hand-finished.
Such products may contain slight variations in:
- Pattern
- Engraving
- Oxidation
- Texture
- Stone placement
- Bead placement
- Enamel
- Colour intensity
- Shape
- Symmetry
- Surface finish
- Dimensions
These differences can be part of the character of handcrafted production and do not necessarily mean that the product is defective.
However, substantial breakage, missing components, unsafe construction or a material departure from the product description may qualify for a remedy under the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
11. Oxidised and antique finishes
Oxidised jewellery is intentionally given a darkened, antique or aged-looking finish.
The following may be normal characteristics of this style:
- Darker areas around grooves
- Uneven antique tones
- Blackened detailing
- Variation between raised and recessed surfaces
- Slight finish differences between two handmade pieces
- Gradual changes in appearance with use
These visual characteristics should not automatically be treated as rust, dirt or damage.
The specific appearance may also develop over time depending on wear, storage, skin chemistry and environmental exposure.
12. Stones, beads, pearls and decorative elements
Artificial stones, glass elements, beads, imitation pearls, mirror pieces and similar decorative components may contain minor differences in:
- Colour
- Shape
- Surface texture
- Transparency
- Pattern
- Size
- Placement
A replacement stone, bead or decorative element may have a small visual variation from the original component where an exact duplicate is unavailable.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, stones and pearls used in fashion jewellery should not be assumed to be natural, precious, semi-precious, cultured or independently certified.
13. Product pair variation
For earrings, anklets, bangles or other products supplied as a pair, the two pieces are intended to be visually coordinated.
Minor variation between paired items may occur in handcrafted or hand-finished designs.
A significant mismatch, missing item or visibly incorrect pair should be reported promptly in accordance with the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
14. Colour and finish longevity
Fashion jewellery finishes are not permanent.
The rate at which a product changes colour or loses plating may vary based on:
- Frequency of use
- Skin chemistry
- Perspiration
- Humidity
- Climate
- Storage conditions
- Friction against clothing
- Exposure to air
- Exposure to water
- Perfume and cosmetics
- Cleaning practices
Unless an express written product guarantee applies, Manvaya Jewels does not promise that the original finish will remain unchanged indefinitely.
Natural fading, oxidation or tarnishing caused by ordinary wear or environmental exposure is not automatically a manufacturing defect.
15. Tarnish-resistant and similar claims
Terms such as:
- Tarnish-resistant
- Water-resistant
- Sweat-resistant
- Long-lasting finish
- Skin-friendly
- Lightweight
- Anti-allergy
- Hypoallergenic
- Nickel-free
- Lead-free
will be used only where Manvaya Jewels has a reasonable basis for making the relevant claim.
Where used:
- “Resistant” does not mean completely immune.
- Product performance may depend on frequency of wear and care.
- “Lightweight” is relative to comparable designs and does not mean weightless.
- “Skin-friendly” does not guarantee that no individual will experience a reaction.
- “Hypoallergenic” does not mean that an allergic response is impossible.
- “Water-resistant” does not mean that the jewellery should be worn while swimming, bathing or showering unless expressly stated.
The individual product page should be consulted for the precise claim applicable to that product.
16. Skin sensitivity and allergic reactions
Individual responses to jewellery materials can vary.
A person may experience irritation because of:
- A known or unknown metal sensitivity
- Prolonged wear
- Perspiration
- Moisture trapped beneath the product
- Friction
- Cosmetics
- Perfume
- Product-cleaning residue
- A reaction to a particular alloy, plating, adhesive or decorative component
Customers with known sensitivities should:
- Review the disclosed product materials;
- Seek clarification before ordering;
- Avoid purchasing where the composition is unsuitable or uncertain;
- Test the product cautiously before prolonged wear; and
- Stop using it if discomfort, redness, swelling or irritation occurs.
Manvaya Jewels jewellery is not a medical product, and product information should not be treated as medical or dermatological advice.
Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional where irritation persists or is severe.
17. Jewellery-care requirements
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, customers should:
- Keep jewellery away from water and excessive moisture.
- Avoid wearing it while bathing, showering or swimming.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, deodorant, hairspray, lotions and cosmetics.
- Remove it before exercise or heavy physical activity.
- Wipe it gently after use with a clean, soft and dry cloth.
- Store each product separately in a dry pouch or box.
- Avoid storing it in humid bathrooms.
- Keep it away from household chemicals and cleaning products.
- Avoid bending, pulling or dropping delicate components.
- Wear jewellery after applying cosmetics and perfume.
- Allow skincare products to dry before wearing jewellery.
Failure to follow reasonable care instructions may shorten the product’s usable life.
Damage caused by improper use, storage or care may not qualify as a manufacturing defect.
18. Cleaning products
Customers should not use harsh jewellery cleaners, acids, abrasive materials, toothpaste, bleach or household cleaning solutions unless the product page expressly confirms that the method is suitable.
A cleaning method appropriate for precious silver may damage plating, artificial stones, adhesives, enamel or fashion-jewellery alloys.
Where uncertain, the customer should use only a clean, soft and dry cloth or contact Manvaya Jewels for product-specific guidance.
19. Delicate and statement jewellery
Some statement designs may be larger, heavier or more delicate than everyday jewellery.
Customers should review:
- Product weight
- Dimensions
- Closure type
- Recommended occasion
- Material information
- Styling images
- Care guidance
Long earrings and large statement pieces may place more pressure on the ear than small studs.
Customers should select products according to their personal comfort and avoid prolonged wear where the item feels uncomfortable.
20. Closures, adjustable products and fit
Adjustable rings, bracelets, cuffs, anklets and necklaces have physical adjustment limits.
Excessive force may:
- Distort the shape
- Weaken the metal
- Damage the finish
- Loosen stones
- Break joints or closures
“Adjustable” does not mean that a product will fit every person or can be repeatedly bent without damage.
Where size information is available, customers should check it before purchase.
21. Small components and children
Jewellery may contain small components, sharp points, hooks, chains, stones, beads or detachable parts.
Unless expressly described as children’s jewellery, Manvaya Jewels products are intended for adult personal use.
Products should be:
- Kept away from infants and small children
- Stored securely when not in use
- Used under appropriate adult supervision where necessary
- Kept away from anyone likely to swallow or misuse small components
Jewellery should not be placed in the mouth or used as a toy.
22. Styling accessories and props
Photographs may include clothing, jewellery boxes, flowers, trays, candles, handbags, scarves, cosmetics or other styling props.
Such items are not included with the purchase unless the product page expressly identifies them as included.
The customer will receive only:
- The jewellery product selected;
- Components expressly described as part of the product or set; and
- Any gift or accessory expressly confirmed in the order.
A photograph showing several pieces does not automatically mean that all displayed pieces form part of one product.
23. Product sets and quantities
Customers should read the product title, quantity selector and “What’s Included” information carefully.
For example:
- “One pair of earrings” means two matching earring pieces.
- “One necklace set” includes only the components specified in the description.
- A photograph showing multiple styling options does not necessarily indicate a multi-piece bundle.
- A product may be sold individually even where several products are arranged together for display.
Where there is uncertainty, the written product description and order confirmation will determine the quantity included.
24. Packaging
Product packaging may vary depending on:
- Product size
- Order value
- Promotion
- Availability
- Courier requirements
- Gift-wrap selection
- Sustainability or operational changes
A product may arrive in a pouch, box, protective wrap or other suitable packaging.
Packaging shown in promotional images is not guaranteed unless the product page or offer expressly states that the particular packaging is included.
Packaging variation will not ordinarily qualify as a product defect where the jewellery arrives safely and the packaging is materially suitable.
25. Gift-ready and gifting representations
Terms such as “gift-ready,” “ideal for gifting” or “perfect gift” describe a suggested use or packaging presentation.
They do not guarantee that:
- The recipient will like the product;
- Every order will include premium gift packaging;
- A handwritten note is included;
- The product will arrive by a particular occasion; or
- Gift wrapping is free.
Any specific gift-wrap service, message, delivery promise or complimentary item must be confirmed during checkout or in the order confirmation.
26. Product names and cultural references
Collection and product names may be inspired by:
- Indian art
- Architecture
- Nature
- Festivals
- Cities
- Historical aesthetics
- Traditional motifs
- Modern Indian fashion
Such names are used for creative, descriptive and branding purposes.
A cultural or geographic product name does not necessarily mean that every component was produced in that place or by a particular community unless this is expressly stated.
“Jaipur-inspired,” for example, describes a design influence and does not by itself mean that the product was handcrafted in Jaipur.
“Handcrafted in Jaipur” or “Made in India” should be used only where the applicable product and sourcing information supports the claim.
27. Ethical, artisan and handmade claims
Statements concerning artisans, local craftsmanship, handmade production, ethical sourcing, sustainability or a product’s place of origin will apply only where expressly stated and reasonably substantiated.
Customers should not assume that every product:
- Is handmade from start to finish;
- Is made by an independent artisan;
- Is manufactured in Jaipur;
- Uses recycled materials;
- Is ethically certified;
- Is locally sourced; or
- Has the same production method.
Manvaya Jewels may offer a combination of handcrafted, hand-finished and machine-manufactured products.
The individual product description should identify material characteristics where relevant.
28. Testimonials, reviews and customer photographs
Customer reviews and testimonials describe the experience of the individual who submitted them.
Results may differ based on:
- Personal taste
- Styling
- Comfort
- Product care
- Frequency of use
- Skin sensitivity
- Expectations
A positive review does not constitute a guarantee that every customer will have an identical experience.
Where customer photographs are displayed, variations may occur because of lighting, camera quality, filters and individual styling.
Manvaya Jewels may moderate reviews that are unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, unrelated or contain personal information. Genuine negative reviews should not be removed solely because they are unfavourable.
29. Social-media and influencer content
Styling recommendations made by creators, influencers or customers are personal opinions unless expressly presented as official product information from Manvaya Jewels.
Where paid, gifted or sponsored content is used, applicable disclosure requirements should be followed.
Customers should rely on the website product description for product composition, measurements, included components and care information.
30. Product availability and design changes
Product availability may change without notice.
Manvaya Jewels may:
- Discontinue a product;
- Restock a modified version;
- Change packaging;
- Update a clasp or minor component;
- Correct a product description;
- Improve photographs;
- Update care instructions; or
- Replace a component where the overall product remains materially equivalent.
A material product change affecting the customer’s order should be communicated before dispatch or reflected in the product information accepted at purchase.
Manvaya Jewels will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement.
31. Errors in product information
Manvaya Jewels takes reasonable steps to maintain accurate product descriptions.
Occasional errors may nevertheless occur in:
- Price
- Measurement
- Material
- Colour name
- Availability
- Photograph
- Quantity
- Discount
- Product title
- Care instructions
Where a material error is identified before dispatch, Manvaya Jewels may:
- Correct the information;
- Inform the affected customer;
- Ask whether the customer wishes to continue; or
- Cancel the affected item and issue a full refund.
The customer will not be required to accept a materially different product merely because an error occurred.
32. No medical, therapeutic or investment use
Manvaya Jewels products are decorative fashion accessories.
They are not sold as:
- Medical devices
- Therapeutic products
- Healing products
- Astrological remedies
- Guaranteed lucky charms
- Investment-grade metals
- Financial assets
References to confidence, self-expression, mood, beauty, energy, tradition or identity are lifestyle and creative expressions, not medical or financial guarantees.
Where a design incorporates a symbolic motif, no supernatural, medical or therapeutic outcome is promised.
33. Product life and warranties
No lifetime warranty applies unless a written warranty is expressly stated for a particular product or promotion.
The usable life of fashion jewellery depends on:
- Material
- Construction
- Frequency of wear
- Care
- Storage
- Climate
- Skin chemistry
- Exposure to moisture and chemicals
A product’s normal ageing, tarnishing or gradual finish change does not automatically create a right to a refund or replacement.
This does not affect remedies for an item that was defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed when delivered.
34. Damage caused after delivery
The following will not ordinarily be regarded as manufacturing defects:
- Damage caused by dropping or impact
- Bent components caused by force
- Broken chains caused by pulling
- Stones loosened through misuse
- Damage caused by water, perfume or chemicals
- Tarnishing caused by poor storage
- Scratching caused by contact with other jewellery
- Changes caused by repairs or alterations
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental loss of part of a set
Eligibility for a return, replacement or refund will be assessed under the Return, Exchange & Refund Policy.
35. Product inspection on delivery
Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.
Where a product is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Incorrect
- Missing a paid component
- Materially different from the listing
the customer should contact Manvaya Jewels preferably within 48 hours and within the applicable return-request period.
The customer should retain:
- External packaging
- Internal packaging
- Shipping label
- Invoice
- Product tags
- Clear photographs
- Unboxing video, where available
An unboxing video is recommended but will not automatically be treated as the only acceptable evidence of a genuine issue.
36. Remedies for eligible product issues
An eligible product issue may be resolved through:
- Repair, where suitable and accepted
- Replacement
- Exchange
- Refund
- Store credit, with the customer’s agreement
- Another appropriate remedy permitted by law
The available remedy may depend on:
- The nature of the issue
- Product availability
- Inspection findings
- The customer’s statutory rights
- The Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
This Product Disclaimer must not be interpreted as preventing a customer from reporting a genuine defect or misrepresentation.
37. Third-party marketplace information
Where a product is listed on a marketplace, some content may be formatted, shortened, translated or displayed according to the marketplace’s systems.
Where a material inconsistency exists, customers should contact Manvaya Jewels or the marketplace before purchase.
Orders placed through a marketplace may be handled under the marketplace’s product-complaint, return and refund procedures.
A customer cannot obtain duplicate refunds from both Manvaya Jewels and the marketplace for the same issue.
38. Limitation of this Disclaimer
Nothing in this Product Disclaimer is intended to:
- Exclude liability for fraud;
- Permit false or misleading product descriptions;
- Avoid responsibility for verified manufacturing defects;
- Exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded;
- Deny remedies for materially misdescribed goods;
- Remove statutory product-liability rights; or
- Override mandatory Indian consumer-protection law.
The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 includes provisions dealing with liability of product manufacturers, product service providers and product sellers, as well as punishment for false or misleading advertisements.
If any clause in this Disclaimer conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the legal requirement will prevail.
39. Grievance escalation
If a product-related concern is not resolved through customer support, the customer may escalate it to:
Grievance Officer: Vishal Saklani
Designation: Proprietor and Grievance Officer

Suggested subject line:

40. Changes to this Disclaimer
Manvaya Jewels may update this Product Disclaimer to reflect changes in:
- Products
- Materials
- Suppliers
- Product-care instructions
- Photography practices
- Packaging
- Sales channels
- Business procedures
- Applicable legal requirements
The updated version will display a revised “Last Updated” date.
The product information displayed and accepted at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order, except where a later change is legally required or more favourable to the customer.
